The short version

Every legend starts with a paddle

Not every dog is a natural swimmer, and that’s okay. Our swim lessons give dogs a calm, controlled place to learn — no currents, no boat traffic and no murky lake water. Just a clear pool, a patient trainer and as many breaks as your dog needs.

Puppy swim lessons make that first experience a happy one, so your dog grows up loving the water. Floaties and life vests are welcome for anyone who prefers a leisurely swim.

What to expect

How it goes

  1. 01

    Meet the water

A slow, positive introduction at your dog’s pace. Nervous dogs can start with a floatie and lots of encouragement.

  2. 02

    Learn to swim

Audra helps your dog use all four legs, stay level and find the exit, so swimming becomes safe and easy.

  3. 03

    Build confidence

Once they’re comfortable, we add toys and retrieves. Some dogs graduate straight to their first dock jump.

Why swimming is so good for dogs

Swimming is low-impact, full-body exercise. It burns energy, builds muscle and is easy on joints — perfect for dogs who overheat on summer walks or need a better outlet than the backyard.

A tired dog is a happy dog, and a swim session tires out even the most energetic pups.

Our pool is outdoors, so swimming and dock diving are seasonal and weather-dependent. Audra closes the pool for the colder months and reopens when it warms up. Dog training is available year-round.

Bring your dog’s favorite floating toy, a leash and a towel (or two — you will get splashed). Audra will let you know anything else when she confirms your appointment.
